Robert K. Kilgore, Jr. age 58, of Hamilton, died, Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. He was born January 23, 1952 in Hamilton the son of Robert K. and Lois (Meyers) Kilgore. He was a graduate of Taft High School. He married Dena Burns on March 17, 1973 in Hamilton. He was employed by International Paper Company in Hamilton and Loveland for 37 years, most recently as Corporate Staff Engineer. He was a member of Hugh L. Bates #686 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Commandary #3, Cincinnati Willis Chapter #131 and Cincinnati Council #1. He was a dedicated person in all endeavors as a husband, father, grandfather and in his employment; never failing to give them his all. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Dena; a son, Damon K. Kilgore; a daughter, Rachel L. Kilgore and fiancé Travis Jenkins all of Hamilton and three grandchildren, Brody, Carmen and Chloe. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gregory and Kenneth. Funeral service will be Monday, March 15, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 NW Washington Blvd., Hamilton with Pastor Sonny Hurd officiating. Burial will be in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, March 15, 2010 from 11 a.m. until time of service.
