Ronald D. Wilson Age 78 of Hamilton passed away July 21, 2010 at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. He was born Dec. 10, 1931 in Hamilton, OH, son of Grover and Viola Wilson. He loved basketball and played in high school as well as college at Cedarville and Wilmington College. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He worked many years at Champion Papers and was retired from General Motors. His hobbies were horseracing and the stock market and spending time with grandchildren and great granddaughter, his girl, Shanelle. Survivors include his wife Jackie Wilson of Hamilton; five children Rhonda Wilson, Terri Wilson, Douglas (Brenda) Wilson, Jeffrey (Manuela) Wilson and Jill (Greg) Bueter. Ten grandchildren; Andrew, Christopher, Scott, Nicholas, Melanie, Rebecca, Erika, Alex, Branden, Tyler. Three great grandchildren; Shanelle, Brianna, Natalie ; brother James (Phyl) Wilson; aunt Edna Stewart; uncles Cliff Apgar, Charles Schuler; cousin, June Scholl; special niece, Nicci Kohlhepp and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by both parents, brothers Harold and Michael; loving sister Linda Brock died just three days prior. Joint funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 NW Washington Blvd., Hamilton with Pastor Barbara Dafler officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Joint visitation for Ron and Linda will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
