Margaret L. Snyder, age 90, of Cincinnati, died July 7, 2010 at Schroder Manor in Hamilton, Ohio. She was born June 16, 1920 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Samuel W. and Margaret (Priessman) Backers. She was a graduate of Hughes High School. She married Charles W. Snyder on October 7, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio and he preceded her in death on July 4, 1995. She was employed by the Clovernook Home for the Blind as an aide for nine years retiring in 1987. Margaret was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in North College Hill. She will be missed by her family and the many friends she made in her community and her church. She is survived by her son, Michael C. Snyder and wife Kathleen; grandchildren, Michael S. Snyder and wife Cynthia, Holly K. Fiehrer and husband Daniel; great grandchildren, Maxwell Fiehrer, Rebekah Snyder and Margaret (Maggie) Fiehrer, all of Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, and a sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Edward James. Funeral service will be Monday, July 12, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 6997 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231 with the Rev. Virginia A. Duffy officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O.
