Elsie Nichol age 79, of Hamilton, died Saturday, February 13, 2010 in Westover Retirement Community.  She was born December 1, 1930 in Hamilton the daughter of Ernest and Clair (Mueller) Bollenbacher.  She married Joe Nichol on August 25, 1950 in Darrtown and he preceded her in death on December 14, 2007.  She was a member of Darrtown United Methodist Church, Hanover Band, Priscilla Club and she enjoyed playing cards.  She is survived by two sons, Scott Nichol and wife, Luann of Hamilton and Brad Nichol and wife, Arlene of College Corner, Ohio; a daughter, Lynne Roll and husband, Mike of Memphis, Tennessee; a brother, Heinz Bollenbacher and wife Betty of Dayton; two sisters-in-law, Sarah Jane Nichol and Ruth Burbank; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, Hans Bollenbacher.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd. with Rev. Edwin Beck officiating.  Burial will be in Darrtown Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to The Colonial Foundation for Westover, 520 Eaton Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
