Vivian D. McKnight Age 94, of Hamilton, died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Westover Retirement Community,  She was born in Holland, Michigan on February 12,1918, the daughter of Louis Leroy and Clara (Nash) Decker.  She was a 1939 graduate of Western Michigan University.  She married Glenn W. McKnight on June 28, 1941 in Holland Michigan and he preceded her in death on May 29, 1997. She managed the gift shop at Mercy Hospital in Hamilton for five years.  She is a member of St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church.  She is survived by her children, Lynn (Jerry) Johnson of Oxford, Bill (Judy) McKnight, Terre Haute, Indiana and Kim (Karen) McKnight, Hamilton; a sister, Sandra Young, Holland, Michigan; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Terri) Johnson, Dr. Christopher McKnight, Caroline Horton, Megan (Brett) Mahle, Sean (Casey) McKnight and Bridget McKnight and one great granddaughter, Tatum Mahle. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Kenneth Decker.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church, Ridgelawn Avenue with Father Michael Pucke officiating.  Burial will be in St. Stephens Mausoleum.  Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the church.  The family wishes to thank the staff at Westover for their care. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Badin High School, 571 New London Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
